MiVida Gardens is an 8 acre diversified produce farm located in Silver Lake, NH, at the southern end of Mount Washington valley, in the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and at the eastern edge of the Lakes Region. Occupying the shores of the ancestral, once much larger, Chocorua River, our soils are fertile and well drained yet moisture retentive.
We do have a small mountain range to shield us from the worst of the winter winds and summer storms. During the winter we can glimpse Mount Chocorua through our woodlot. We are fortunate in being surrounded by acres of conservation land to the side and rear and a small family homestead across the way. With no other agricultural operations within two miles, we can raise our one and one quarter acre of crops without undo worry about pesticide drift or contamination.
